The one where I con my brother into taking me to a concert

Not really con. haha, He did it as an early birthday present, which I TOTALLY appreciated. It was nice to go. Really nice. despite both of us being DOG tired by the end of the night. I am not used to standing that long anymore. BLEH! He’s a super awesome brother, for coming with me, and listening to me talk his ear off!!

We went together and saw They Might Be Giants and the Absolutely Amazing Jonathan Coulton. I didn’t recognize most of the They Might be Giants stuff, but when you consider I was 2 when their first CD came out, I figure that’s ok. They sang Birdhouse in your Soul, and a few other songs I liked. I adored JoCo. I do. He’s lyrically funny. I told Scott the concert was like living backwards. All the songs I learned and loved as an adult with JoCo and all the songs I learned, and the voices from y childhood with TMBG. It was a great time. I learned some new songs. I loved hanging with Dax. I did my best to not go all emo, or be the annoying girl who screeched too much (she was behind me, unfortunately)

Check out JoCo You’ll find at least one song that makes you laugh. I guarentee it. He’s awesome.

Here’s to doing something you want, and checking off ONE goal from your list 😉

Date Report, it’s a little late

Such a naughty girl am I! I didn’t update after my date. *grins wickedly*

Shame.

ANyway, It was rather interesting, from my point of view, I took an hour trying to find his house ([sarcasm]Thanks Yahoo, you’re directions were SO helpful[/sarcasm]) and of course I finally found it, but Then we had to go and find the place it was at (Go Counting Crows!) And, that was an adventure that took two hours of finding it.

Anyway, we went, had a lot of fun, and the nice thing was that my date didn’t even know who the Counting Crows were, and still went. 😉 He’s a doll for that.

We went to dinner after and the whole hootenanny of a date ended around Midnight. (smiles) It was fun, and I was grateful for the fun, I don’t seem to get my daily intake.

*hugs* I think I’ll go to Winter Ball with him… *crosses her fingers* I hope.

Anyway, I know this is short, but I”m busy trying to think of two things:

a)How to fix my dress, so It’s modest (ie has sleeves…. ya know.. er yeah)

b)How to ask him, so it’s really cute.

Anyway, Ta for now

Happy Days

Happy Days!

I worked this morning, and goofed off for a long time at the mall. I visited HIM, but he doesn’t do it for me anymore.

I finally fixed myself. Huzzah for me!

I’m going to my FIRST concert on tuesday, it’s General Seating, so I have to get there early.

I’m very excited. It’s happy things. Happy happy happy things.
